Sarita Sharma was born in 1979 in Varanasi as the third child of Shri Shri Brahma Gopal Bhadury and Smt. Dr. Rita Bhadury. Her strong religious tendencies were clear since childhood. Her parents' divine qualities were exposed in her since an early age as whatever she uttered was true and manifested in reality. Her extraordinary nature gleamed as she grew with her quit personality, great stamina yet extreme humbleness. Her name which was chosen by her father means a valuable metal – gold. Her name describes her nature and behavior in an accurate manner.​
 

She did her schooling in Central Hindu School of Banaras. She has a BA degree in Arts; Dance and Vocal Music and MA degree in Geography both form Banaras Hindu University.

In 2001 Sarita married Dr. Madhushodan Sharma and moved to Gorakpur from Varanasi, from one city of Lord Shiva to another. Sarita's husband belongs to a well-known religious and doctor family; he is the son of late Dr. Mohendranath Sharma who was a cancer surgeon and Dr. Rama Sharma a Gynecologist.
The couple is blessed to be senior disciples of Shri Shri Radha Baba, founder of Gita Press, as the entire Sharma family was. The couple has two children.​
 

Sarita Sharma has dedicated herself to her family in a very special way, following the footsteps of her remarkable mother, Smt. Dr. Rita Bhadury. Sarita Sharma seems herself extremely fortunate to be born the blissful Bhadury family- as for Sarita her parents and aunt, Maa Durga Rani, are both Guru and God.
